Track record

Former COO of Tabs. I built its creator program to 100M monthly social impressions, and the paid ad engine alongside it. The numbers below come from videos that program produced.

At Tabs I built the creator program to 100M monthly social impressions, with the paid ad engine alongside it. This is the same playbook pointed at AI wearables: briefs, a hook library, one variable per test, losers killed early. I have not run consumer electronics before, so MIRA's team owns product truth.

Why now

  • $649.00

    A high-ticket device needs a demo

MIRA Glasses & Ring is listed at $649.00. A price like that is easier to trust when a real person wears it in a real conversation.

    Published
  • 60+

Translation is a video, not a sentence

The site promises understanding of 60+ languages through the lenses. A two-way conversation on camera shows that better than any spec line.

    Published
  • 30-day

Returns lower the risk to say yes

MIRA offers a 30-day return policy on the glasses and smart ring. Creators can point viewers to it without promising anything of their own.

Part 4 of 14

Principles

  1. One number to protect

Cost per 1,000 views, target $1. The simulator shows $5.74 today, so every brief is built to close that gap, not to look pretty.

  2. 7 videos per creator per week

Volume finds the hooks. 303 videos a month at 10 creators gives enough tests to kill losers early, one variable per test.

  3. Claims come from the MIRA site

Creators say the lines on the claims sheet. If a line is not on it, it goes to the MIRA lead before anyone films.

  4. Pay for output, bonus for reach

Fee and cap by band, plus $50 flat past 100,000 views. No bonus for views bought with ad money.

Briefs, drafts, reviews and the weekly numbers

  1. PriyaMon 8:30 AM

This week's brief: show Translate in a real conversation. One hook, seven videos. Film on a second phone with the glasses on your face.

  2. TomasMon 9:10 AM

Can I say MIRA replaces my phone?

No. Stick to the claims sheet. If you want a new line, ask here and I will check with the team.

  3. Weekly reportAppMon 7:00 AM

Report posted: videos live, views, cost per 1,000 views against the $1 target, bonus status and claims flags.

  4. PriyaWed 2:15 PM

Draft three goes back. The memory line goes further than the sheet. Reshoot the opening with the approved memory line and send it again.

  5. LenaThu 6:40 PM

The restaurant translate video just passed 100,000 views, all organic.

Great. The $50 flat bonus is logged, one per creator per month.

  6. Check botAppFri 10:00 AM

Weekly check: every live video carries an approved claim line, shows no stranger without consent, and never implies a camera.

The messages illustrate the working channel, with invented people: briefs go out on Monday, claims questions get an answer the same day, and nothing posts without the check.

Part 5 of 14

Formats

  1. Live translation

    Brief 01

    Live translation

    “Real-time Speaker identification”

Two people talk in different languages. A second phone films over the shoulder and shows the wearer reacting.

  2. Memory recall

    Brief 02

    Memory recall

    “Unlimited conversation storage”

Screen-record the MIRA app searching an old conversation, then cut to the creator reading the answer aloud.

  3. Hands-free agent

    Brief 03

    Hands-free agent

    “Voice-controlled AI agents”

Creator walks through a busy morning and speaks tasks aloud. Show each confirmation, then the finished result.

  4. Ring gesture

    Brief 04

    Ring gesture

    “Discreet gesture control”

Close-up of the hand in a meeting or cafe. Show the ring gesture, then the glasses display response on a second phone.

  5. Privacy walk-through

    Brief 05

    Privacy walk-through

“No camera for peace of mind”

Creator wears the glasses facing the phone and points out the frame. Talk through the approved privacy lines only.

Every product line in a video comes off the claims sheet word for word, for example “Search through your memories and past conversations in the app. Nothing from your day gets lost.”, “Understand 60+ languages instantly through your lenses. The app enables two-way translation for full conversations across language barriers.”, “Audio is never recorded, transcripts only”. Product names are said as printed.

Part 6 of 14

Recruiting

Four sources in

  • Language and travel creators

People who already film conversations abroad or with family in another language. Translate is their native format.

  • Students and note-takers

Creators who share study and meeting routines. They can show memory search and transcripts in an ordinary day.

  • Gadget and wearables reviewers

Small reviewers who handle new hardware honestly. They know how to show a ring and a display without overselling.

  • Affiliate or ambassador page

No affiliate or ambassador page was found on the MIRA site, so I would start from direct outreach and an open application.

Five filters, fewer each step

  1. 1Real conversations on camera

Their feed shows unscripted talking, not only voice-overs.

  2. 2Honest voice

They say what a product cannot do without being asked.

  3. 3Phone-only production

They can film seven videos a week on a phone, no crew.

  4. 4Claims discipline

They accept the claims sheet and send drafts back when asked.

  5. 5Consent for others

They never film strangers without asking first.

Part 7 of 14

Who

  • Frequent traveler

Talks to locals abroad and films the exchange. Translate becomes the story of the trip.

Likely product: MIRA Glasses & Ring

  • Language learner

Practises with native speakers and films the real conversation, mistakes included.

Likely product: MIRA Glasses & Ring

  • Student note-taker

Shows how conversations and lectures turn into searchable transcripts and summaries.

Likely product: MIRA Glasses & Ring

  • Founder on calls

Films a workday of meetings, tasks and follow-ups handled by voice.

Likely product: MIRA Glasses & Ring

  • Ring-first minimalist

Prefers discreet gear and shows gesture control in daily life.

    Likely product: Extra MIRA Ring

  • Gadget reviewer

Compares the whole setup honestly and shows the accessories that come with it.

    Likely product: Extra MIRA Charger

Left off, every time

Never anyone who films strangers without consent, makes health or medical claims about MIRA, or buys views. No creators who imply the glasses record video: the product has no camera. Minors are always out.

Approved, word for word

Quoted exactly as the brand publishes it.

  • “Search through your memories and past conversations in the app. Nothing from your day gets lost.”

Memory recall videos and app screen recordings

  • “Understand 60+ languages instantly through your lenses. The app enables two-way translation for full conversations across language barriers.”

    Privacy walk-through videos

  • “Lightweight for all day wear”

    Day-in-the-life videos

  • “5ATM water resistance”

    Ring gesture and ring close-ups

Never said

Each one with the reason it stays out.

  • Never say the glasses have a camera

A hardware spec the product page contradicts.

  • Never say MIRA records your conversations

A privacy claim the product page contradicts.

  • Never say it can diagnose or replace a doctor

A medical promise with no support on the site.

  • Never say it beats other smart glasses

A comparison with no source on the sheet.

  • Never say it translates every language perfectly

A performance promise stronger than the approved line.

  • Never say the battery lasts longer than the site states

A spec claim beyond the sheet.

  • Never say it is accurate every time

An accuracy promise; customer comments are their own words.

To confirm with the brand

Held until someone on the brand side signs off.

  • Battery hours and ring water depth

Specs the MIRA team confirms before creators quote them.

  • Prescription lens shipping dates

Dates change by batch; the team gives the current ones.

Part 10 of 14

Pay

  • Starter

    $300–600

    a month, by band

Starter: new creators on a smaller fee, with a cap that keeps risk low while we learn their hooks.

    Bonus at the cap: $300

  • Standard

    $500–1,000

    a month, by band

Standard: creators with steady output and a format that keeps cost per 1,000 views near target.

    Bonus at the cap: $500

  • Premium

    $800–1,500

    a month, by band

Premium: proven creators whose videos repeatedly beat the median, with the highest fee and cap.

    Bonus at the cap: $700

  1. Under 100,000 views

    $0

The base pay covers the work.

  2. 100,000 views

    +$50 flat

    Whatever the band.

  3. 1,000,000 views

    Top-up to your cap

Bonus = band cap − base pay.

  • One bonus per creator per month, flat at $50, for a video that passes 100,000 views.
  • The bonus is per video: the video must pass 100,000 views on its own.
  • Only organic views count. Views from ad spend never earn a bonus.
  • No bonus on a video that broke the claims sheet or the category rule.

Starter: $600 cap − $300 fee = $300 bonus; Standard: $1,000 cap − $500 fee = $500 bonus; Premium: $1,500 cap − $800 fee = $700 bonus.

The bonus pays for reach after the work is done, never instead of it. One bonus per creator per calendar month keeps it an incentive and keeps the program cost predictable.

Part 11 of 14

Simulator

Today the simulator shows $5.74 per 1,000 views against the $1 target. To close it, 4.2% of videos must go viral or the median video must reach 21,711 views.

Above the $1 target at these inputs.

To hit $1, the roster needs about 10.1M views a month. That means about 4.2% of videos going viral, or a median near 22K views per video. That is why the day-90 gate exists: keep the accounts that clear it, replace the rest.

Proposed, not measured. Views = videos × median, breakouts at 10× the median, viral at 750K. Bonus: +$50 for a viral video, one per creator per month.

The math. Videos a month = 10 creators × 7 a week × 52 ÷ 12 = 303. Views per video = (1 − 4% − 0.5%) × 1,500 + 4% × 10 × 1,500 + 0.5% × 750,000 = 5,782.5; 303 videos × 5,782.5 = 1.8M views a month. Cost = 10 × $1,000 = $10,000 base + 1 bonus × $50 = $10,050. Cost per 1,000 views = $10,050 ÷ 1.8M × 1,000 = $5.74 against a $1.00 target. To hit the target, either 4.2% of videos go viral or the median video reaches 21,711 views, other inputs held.

Move the sliders and the label recalculates. The result is only as good as the guesses behind it, so the median views, the share of breakouts and the share of viral videos are marked as Assumptions until the first month of posts replaces them.

Category rules

AI wearables: six rules for creators

MIRA is hardware that listens, so privacy and accurate specs matter more than reach. These rules apply to every video.

  • Consent before filming

Anyone who appears or speaks on screen agrees first. No stranger, child or private conversation goes up without clear permission.

  • No camera, say it right

The glasses have no camera. Never imply they record video or photos. The approved line is: No camera for peace of mind.

  • Audio claims stay literal

Use only the approved audio lines: transcripts only, never stored, shared, or sold. Never paraphrase them into something bigger.

  • No health or medical outcomes

MIRA is a consumer device. Nothing about diagnosis, treatment or vision correction goes on camera unless it is on the claims sheet.

  • Price and returns as the site shows

If you mention price, say $649.00 for MIRA Glasses & Ring. Mention the 30-day return policy only as MIRA words it.

  • Disclose the pay

Every post carries a clear paid-partnership label. A bonus of $50 flat never changes what you may say on camera.

The brand’s legal team sets the final rules. This is the operating floor I’d start from, not legal advice.
